RNC Spring Update

I hope this email finds you well! It has been an eventful spring so far, and I’m excited to bring you a couple updates from the last few weeks.

Women’s Empowerment Panel at The White House:

Last week, I was invited to attend a Women’s Empowerment Panel at the White House, along with a small group of other women from around the country who are involved in the Republican Party. Moderated by Pam Bondi (Attorney General of Florida), the panel included: Betsy Devos (U.S. Secretary of Education), Linda McMahon (Administrator of the Small Business Administration), Nikki Haley (U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations), and Seema Vera (Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services). These outstanding women discussed their journeys to leadership, their triumphs and challenges, and their belief in the valuable role that women have played and will continue to play in the fabric of our country.

I was moved by the President Trump’s proclamation about Women’s History Month, and I found his call to recognize and cherish the strength of women throughout American history to be incredibly inspiring.  He detailed accounts of American women who have made “contributions to our Nation’s life, culture, history, economy, and families,” and in doing so, “have shaped us and helped us fulfill America’s promise.”

I was touched by his sincere affirmation of women being fearless pioneers, steady fighters, persevering advocates, and bold leaders. Moreover, the hopefulness and appreciation in the East Ballroom were palpable as President Trump declared that “America will continue to fight for women’s rights and equality across the country and around the world.”
Mrs. Trump and Mike Pence both attended the event as well, and it really was such a special event to be a apart of.
President Trump’s full speech can be found here.
GOP News in Georgia:
The 6th Congressional District special election is on April 18th. Currently, there are 18 candidates in the running, 11 of which are Republicans. The most likely scenario is that the top Republican vote getter will be in a runoff with Democrat Jon Ossoff on June 20th, and so we will need to come together to rally behind our Republican candidate!

In the meantime, we need all hands on deck to get the Republican vote out. So if you’d like to help with making phone calls, contact the GA GOP office

Thanks for all you do!

May God Bless You,
Ginger Howard
